Método del Punto Material Aplicado al Análisis de Fractura Frágil Dinámica Utilizando Campo de Fase

En este trabajo se aplica el Método del Punto Material (MPM) para la simulación de fractura dinámica en medios elásticos utilizando el Método de Campo de Fase (PFM de su acrónimo en inglés). En la formulación implementada, las ecuaciones de movimiento y las ecuaciones que gobiernan el campo de fase se resuelven de forma independiente para cada campo discreto (utilizando un algoritmo predictor-corrector). Para la malla de fondo se utiliza una aproximación isogeométrica (NURBS) de diferentes órdenes de interpolación. La formulación permite tratar problemas con contacto y se implementó en un código explícito. Se analizan algunos problemas de propagación de grietas y se estudia la convergencia de los resultados para diferentes órdenes de interpolación.
